During a presentation at the SyScan conference in Singapore, security researcher Charlie Miller made clear that there was a significant vulnerability in the iPhone’s SMS system.

According to Miller, the attack “exploits a weakness in the way iPhones handle text messages received via SMS (Short Message Service),” use these SMS to run malicious software code which “could include commands to monitor the location of the phone using GPS, turn on the phone’s microphone to eavesdrop on conversations, or make the phone join a distributed denial of service attack or a botnet.”

Miller says he’s passing the evidence onto Apple for it to mend up the problem before it becomes something more serious, hope this hole could be mended ASAP.

May be a firewall and antivirus software also needed on iPhone.

Two new stylish iPod music systems were released by Sony in Europe, the CMT-Z100iR is available in July and the NAS-Z200iR will come to stores across Europe in mid September, according to AkihabaraNews.

The most salient feature of these two new docks is their Wi-Fi streaming which means devices with this industry certification can talk to each other and allow easy data transfer wirelessly. The networked Sony unit includes a CD player (both audio CD and CD-R/RW discs with MP3 tracks accept), AM/FM radio plus USB inputs.

Both the CMT-Z100iR and NAS-Z200iR has two 20-watt independent speaker to provide high fidelity stereo sound, they can be wall mounted with a VESA wall bracket, which is a standard mount used also for TVs.

The differences bewteen these two docks are the CMT-Z100iR includes iPod / CD / USB playback, a large display that shows the time and selected function, and glossy black/white two colors in appearence can be choosed.

Unfortunately when they will appear in the U.S. is not mentioned.

The statistics were reported in AdMob’s May 2009 Mobile Metrics Report, if you want the full report please check here.

I was shock when I read it, it means more than half of the apps are inactive, and most people do not buy apps from App Store, what’s wrong about it? May be it’s time for Apple to think about it’s mode of commercial operation on apps, it’s high cost on iPhone SDK using and low pay back perhaps will force designers go away, and the lack of efficiency of App Store also caused users can not find what they really want. These two factors are negative to sales, and might drive people change their way to JailBreak.

This is an alarming.

Last summer of 2008, demand for the iPhone 3G was heavy and supplies short, now it reappeared.

On Friday that only 29 of Apple’s 257 stores were displaying shortages of any iPhones (data based on IFOAppleStore ) , but there were red “sold out” lights for selected 3GS models in all but six states when Sunday morning.

In Louisville, the only store of Kentucky was completely sold out all models. In Texas, the 16GB model was sold out in all but three of the state’s 15 Apple Stores.

And the entry-level white iPhone 3GS seems to be the best selling model, it’s hard to know whether demand for that model is unusually high or if Apple just isn’t making enough of them.

Do you have already stored for your iPhone? Hurry up!

To celebrate the OS 3.0 Software Update, Flight Control is going multiplayer. This is going to be the first iPhone 3.0 & ipod touch 2G app that will go multiplayer by utilizing the new ‘Peer to Peer Bluetooth Gameplay’ feature in OS 3.0. Prior to OS 3.0, players would have to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network in order to play any local networking games. With 3.0, all you need are two iPhones or ipod touch 2G with Bluetooth.

How to turn on Bluetooth on iPod Touch 2G with OS 3.0
Go to Settings
General Tab
Bluetooth, tap to turn it ON

App Store download link of Flight Control

Using Peer-to-Peer networking on supported devices, two Flight Controllers can now play together. One Controller will be in charge of pink aircraft, the other of yellow and blue. Aircraft will appear as usual, but you can only land your own colour (s) – other aircraft must be directed off the side of the screen and will then appear on the other Controller’s airfield.

Every female has a cycle trouble days each month since puberty has began. Because of the period is so unpredictable and easily affected by moods, food, weather or other unexpected factors, it does not always happen in the right time which make a huge mess. Now if you are a female also has that trouble with your period, and just right have iPhone/iTouch in your hand, then I strongly suggest you to download this app named iPeriod (IP). My reasons are as below:

iPeriod provide many cute icons to record your periods on a visual canlendar which make you easy to check;

The records contain cramps, love connections, notes, spotting, period days and flow, fertile days, ovulation etc.;

According to your records it will give you future 12 periods, or you can set the luteal phase by yourself;

Alerts you when your period is expected or late

You can set a password to keep it secret;

Allowed emailing your period data for backups

I have used it for half of year and it provides me very accurate predictions each month, it’s a very useful app for every female, thanks for the designer!

But be attention, please do not use it for preventing pregnancy, it’s not hundred percent safe.

X2 Football lets you experience the highs and lows of taking more than 50 National teams through a number of tournaments, leagues and cups, and gives you total control of the action with the revolutionary floating analogue stick and X2 S.M.A.R.T buttons.

This ingenious and cutting edge system delivers Slick Movement and Robust Tactics coupled with a fluid, 360 degree control method that takes handheld football to the next level.
The X2 control system means that you can play intuitive football in the way that just feels right. Play thru-balls along the ground or in the air, perform tricks and make the plays happen as you see them. Shoot, make a lofted cross and ping the ball around pitch, but keep an eye on the X2 power gauge to make sure you hit that sweet spot every time. Thanks to the X2 control system it’s easy for a beginner to pick up and play, but to master it takes practice and skill. Just like on a real pitch.
X2 Football also gives you the chance to delve deep into the strategy of the beautiful game if that’s what you want. Take complete control of team management and see how the decisions you make in the dugout translate into success (or failure) on the pitch.
With full motion-captured player animations, a blisteringly fast game engine and the sublime X2 control system, X2 Football brings the pace, nuances and skills of the beautiful game realistically to life.

Why wait for extra time when you can play right now!
X2 Football – the definitive 3D football experience on the iPhone and iPod Touch from the masters of handheld football.
Featuring:

Full motion-captured player animation for incredible realism and gameplay.

X2 control system, comprising the revolutionary floating analogue stick and X2 S.M.A.R.T buttons, mean fluid football action, the way that it should be.

I enjoy the gameplay in X2 Football more than in Real Soccer because the controls are so much more intuitive and responsive. A directional marker appears for whichever player you’re controlling, and the instant replays allow you to watch from different angles and speeds. At anytime, you can access the options or pause by tapping the mini map in the upper right corner. For me, the game seems to flow better in X2 Football, but I will say that Real Soccer has more depth in terms of teams, the use of real player names, and the ability to choose different stadiums. But at the same time with Real Soccer, some of the players tend to run around like headless chickens, while in X2 Football, they seem to behave more as a real team.
